Historic declaration to be signed on reduction of intra-CARICOM roaming charges

A declaration towards the reduction of intra-CARICOM roaming charges will be signed in St. George’s, Grenada, on 23 February.

Prime Minister of Grenada, Dr. the Right Honorable Keith Mitchell, who is Lead Head of Government with responsibility for Science and Technology in the CARICOM Quasi Cabinet, will officiate at the ceremony.

The Hon. Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, who is Lead Head of Government with responsibility for the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME), will attend the ceremony, the Caribbean Telecommunications Union said in a media advisory.

The historic signing ceremony will be held at the Grenada Trade Centre Annex, and will be live from 9 am on the Grenada Government Information Service Facebook and YouTube platforms and shared on CARICOM Facebook.
