COVID-19 Update for Thursday, 9 April
• No results announced today; test kits from South Korea have all passed validation checks conducted by Cayman laboratory.
• Premier thanks US Ambassador to Jamaica for intervening to ensure container full of ventilators and masks is released by US authorities.
• Curfew exemption team and emergency travel hotline team will close over Easter and restart operations on Tuesday, 14 April.
• Easter Sunday (12 April) will be a hard curfew day; no press conferences will take place on Good Friday (Friday, 10 April) and Easter Sunday.
