Antigua and Barbuda – 19 cases with two fatalities

OPM, Antigua/Barbuda – Our nation now has 19 persons who tested positive for the Corona virus and two fatalities.

Even though those who succumbed to the virus had comorbidities, we all are susceptible to the consequences of Covid directly, or indirectly and therefore should be extremely vigilant.

This is a further call for the personal responsibility of everyone to strictly observe the Covid protocols to include: practicing personal hygiene etiquette, social distancing, stay at home, quarantining and isolation as appropriate.

A healthy person is less susceptible, but not immune from the consequences of Covid.

Covid is a potential death sentence for all of us, especially the negligent and indisciplined.

Let us work diligently and collectively to defeat Covid.
