Trade Ministers meet 18-19 November – CSME Implementation Plan high on agenda

A review of the implementation plan for the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) will be high on the agenda when Ministers of Trade in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM)  gather in Georgetown, Guyana, 18-19 November. The Ministers will be in Georgetown for the 49th Regular Meeting of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED).

Challenges associated with implementation, CSME administrative procedures, competition law and policy in the CSME, are among the matters that will engage the Ministers.

The Ministers will also address trade in services, agriculture and other goods, as well as external economic and trade relations.

The business sessions of the Meeting will be preceded by an Opening Ceremony at the Pegasus Hotel.

Representatives of the media are invited to cover the following:
