CARICOM Trade Ministers meet mid-November

Ministers of Trade in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will gather in Georgetown, Guyana, 18-19 November, for the 49th Regular Meeting of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED).

A review of the implementation plan for the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) and challenges associated with implementation, CSME administrative procedures, competition law and policy in the CSME, are among the matters that will engage the Ministers.

The Ministers will also address trade in services, agriculture and other goods, as well as external economic and trade relations.

Ahead of the Ministerial session, trade officials met at the CARICOM Secretariat, 30-31 October.
