Saint Lucia’s Dr. Jimmy Fletcher Named A Chevening Global Changemaker

(St. Lucia Times) Dr. Jimmy Fletcher is one of 35 Chevening Alumni hailed as Global Changemakers in celebration of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship’s 35th anniversary.

Since 1983, the UK Chevening Scholarships Programme has supported future leaders, decision-makers, and opinion formers to study degree level courses in the UK.

In those 35 years, Chevening has supported 50,000 people from around the world to study in a UK institution, and then return to their home countries to help transform their communities.

To mark the anniversary, 35 specially selected Chevening Alumni have been designated Global Changemakers.

The British High Commission in Castries was delighted to congratulate Dr. Jimmy Fletcher as one of the select few to have been recognised in this way.
