Quieter overnight; but rumbling, ash fall continue – lead La Soufriere scientist

Lead scientist monitoring La Soufriere volcano, Professor Richard Robertson, said things were quieter overnight, but that there were still rumblings at the site.
The ash from the volcano has blanketed parts of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and other Caribbean countries including Barbados and Saint Lucia.
Providing an update on Saturday morning (10 April 2021), Prof. Robertson said there was continuous venting of ash into the atmosphere.

Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, said the cleanup exercise was expected to begin by noon on Saturday.
